| Description:

Responsible for testing and isolation
of malfunctions in hydraulic and pneumatic system or components, utilizing technical manuals and schematics. Modify, repair
or disassemble and overhaul systems or components. Must be able to understand the integration of all systems and how they
relate to propulsion, fire protection, and mission of the vessel.
Capable of setting up and operating one or more
of the following:
-Main diesel engines
-Ships service diesel engines
-Reduction gears
-CPP systems
-Electro
hydraulic steering systems
-Lube oil and fuel oil systems
-Air compressors
-Purifiers
-Elevators
-Deck equipment
-Anchor
handling equipment
-Hinged ramps
-Overhead cranes
-Refrigeration and/or ac plants
-Desalination plants
-VCHT
and plumbing waste systems
-Fire fighting systems including HFP, AFFF
-Water mist and wet/dry/magazine sprinkling

| Requirements:
|
3 or more years of experience required.
The
ability to understand the integration of all systems and how they relate to propulsion, fire protection and mission of the
Vessel is required.
Mechanical aptitude that allows them to trouble shoots and resolve problems of related equipment and
systems, fully understanding the pneumatic/electronic/electrical controls for all responsible systems.
Knowledge of diesel/gasoline
engines and all the types of pumps required.
Understanding of all operational theory is necessary. |
